Your tour begins at the Stellenbosch winelands, just 20 minutes from Cape Town, known for its unique grape varieties like Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, and Pinotage—a grape indigenous to South Africa. You’ll learn about the local Méthode Cap Classique, a sparkling wine technique that rivals French champagnes. While exploring the lively town of Stellenbosch, enjoy a wine cellar tour, visit museums and galleries, or indulge in strawberry picking. Wines from the region are available for purchase.
