EmpireCT is a family business run by Kurt Jacobs, who has extensive travelling experiences in Africa, throughout Southern Africa,  Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and parts of the Middle East and Asia. Kurt and his team are passionate about people and love for each other and it shows through their work day to day, work ethic and history of strongly maintained relationships in all the various industries they have worked and people they have come into contact with. Somehow they manage to bring all these qualities and expertise together to give you the best possible experience that you rightfully deserve, whether it be in the film, stills, transport, tourism- or any industry that you are in.

Kurt is also a photographer, writer and aspiring film maker who’s keen to form collaborations with other writers, musicians and film makers. He runs marathons, swims and cycles and is available and prepared to raise funds for charity, until he has set up his own NGO, and will then be raising funds under The Jacobs Family NGO. He has worked with various community and youth development programs in Africa. He is currently developing his smallholding in Caledon to be a fully organic self sustainable farm, part of which will be developed as an NGO community outreach program to empower and uplift the surrounding Tesselaarsdal community.
